I’m currently founding a company aiming at the preservation of the environment. In this frame, I met a biotechnology expert who told me his opinion about the oil slicks. They are not so big ecological disasters as there are presented by the Medias. It is right, that an oil slick brings big economical and sanitary problems; especially when it reaches the coast. But, as the hydrocarbons poured in the sea are naturally bio-deteriorated by the bacteria, these bacteria develop themselves. As they are at the beginning of the food chain, at the end the process there are more fishes in the area polluted by the oil slick. If you want to give your opinion, please click on “Comments”.
The oil slicks have ecological advantages !
